Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

The 'talk' was this is definitely a prep, the literal form of it wouldn't be good enough, but the bet looked dead last time, so I'll take that.

    Shouldn't be ignored!
I agree. He was staying on nicely at the end. Don’t they say sometimes a horse needs to learn it can breathe ok after a wind op? Perhaps that was the case here. Good luck with the bet.

      Totally agree.

He was coming back at the finish again too.

An end to end gallop in a big field at Cheltenham is what he needs - not out of the equation by any means.

      • The opposite for Itchy Feet.... surely targets something like Aintree now?

I really wanted Lisnagar to hold on for the win as I've backed Third Wind for the Pertemps!

          • Third Wind pays a massive compliment to last year's Pertempts form there.

Me too, unfortunately that might put TW out of contention for the Pertemps and not good enough for the Stayers.

              • ...28-1 Lisnagar Oscar NRNB with Sky looks some way the best available.

Nothing wrong with that price, but with PP sponsoring the race this year, I'm expecting at least 5 or 6 places nearer to the day out of them. He would prob be 20s on the day with them.

...I suppose that depends on the number of runners.

                        You’ll likely get unlucky.
The 6 places are exclusively reserved for the 26 runner handicaps, a 15ish runner Stayers you should get four, but I think that will be about it....

                        • Gordon Elliott, trainer of Fury Road
Fury Road can be forgiven his run at Leopardstown over Christmas as he wasn't quite one hundred per cent. He seems to be much better at home and we're looking forward to running him. I'm half leaning towards skipping Cheltenham altogether with him and keeping him for Fairyhouse and Punchestown. We'll see how we get on here first.

                          • IMO Sire Du Berlais is Gordon's Number 1 hope for the Stayers so I can sort of understand them staying at home with FR. Bloody annoying though that the two meetings are so close. Who the hell agreed to that ?? With most of the races offering prize money on a par with Cheltenham and the hassle travelling because of Covid, I can see plenty going to Fairyhouse instead.

God, now we have to think about Fairyhouse!! Ante post Cheltenham getting more and more dodgy!! Different strategy next season I think
