Maybe 2 1/2 miles on Soft ground giving 7lbs to one of the best horses around was thought too much on his first run back from injury.

Got all those in my book and haven't a clue if any of them will come out on top in March. Today's race is superb and will go a long way hopefully to solving the puzzle. If the likes of Paisley or Lisnagar Oscar win today then I'm done for re the English bunch but I simply can't bet any more in the race !
Blimey! So you may aswell back paisley and LO now you come this far!

              • Im sure a good few will laugh at this, but is sam spinner a good price at 28/1?

His second last run over hurdles he was beaten 2.75l by a peak paisley park in the stayers, he then flopped at aintree, but he is seemingly being written off because of his poor recent runs over fences which imo is because he is just such an awful jumper of a fence rather than him being in decline. If he runs his race today back over hurdles, and with a run under his belt (half a run) which a few of market leaders dont have, he has a good chance of getting in the frame doesnt he?

You're not wrong, I am laughing

Only teasing RR - case well made I think (as is the problem with this race a case can be made for pretty much all of them - but big price).

I did type out earlier he was a big price on his best form but ended up deleting it and going off on a tangent.

Chance him, each way of course.

Public must of caught wind of my dithering.

                        That's the only explanation.

I absolutely love VDF, but struggle to back him currently, though 4 places may be fair
