It is quite a skill to find the value based on mark-fishing based on the Christmas entries... and we should probably only be looking for Gordon Elliott horses at that point.

I don't truly believe that Willie Mullins would have the Pertemps on his mind yet... the mark is interesting....but surely he's still most likely to go chasing still... he's definitely a big chasing type still and they'll surely let him try fences again before pulling up stumps? They did with Bacardys?

It's a great angle, I do really like it, but liking something and backing horses for handicaps in AUGUST is absolutely mental, you nutters.

Hahaha, you definitely should request that somebody.... give the traders at Skybet something to giggle about on a Friday afternoon.

        • I really thought FJ would move the market where Thomas Darby was concerned........must be losing our mojo.

          • Did cross doubles yesterday on Thyme Hill and Sire Du Berlais in the Stayers with Captain Guinness in the Arkle. Love that type of bet.

            • Emma lavelle has come out to say paisley park is back to work looking great and he’ll be out for the long distance hurdle at Newbury in October, can’t wait to see how he shows up after Cheltenham, believe he’s still the one to beat

Good to hear no issue following his Stayers flop, if arriving fit and well he’s the one to beat..

                • 6/1 is a nice price i had a big go on a double with honeysuckle in the mares hurdle so hopefully all goes well and they line up!

                  • I think giving connections he would have been retired if there was any doubt about the horses health going forward so I have no worries on that front

                    • Great news on his wellbeing!

Might be one to hover over the price if he seems fine during the long distance hurdle.

Brilliant news. Very much the one to beat if back to his old-self. I don't mean to be overly cynical but there is still a slight nagging doubt in my mind (enough to stop me from backing him) that the problem could resurface when push comes to shove at the business end of a tough race. He is great for the sport so I really hope I am wrong.

I'm the same as you. He's bombed twice now at the Fez so maybe it happened the first time as well ? Noticed that he also lost shoes in both races so I suggest they sack their farrier.

                          • Could The Storyteller be sent here? I don't think he has too much to find on the others

                              He hasn’t, you are right.

As I watched the win 20 minutes ago I thought maybe he could be better at the 2M5F trip of the Coral Cup.
He is currently 153-rated, though may go up for today’s win.
