Beacon Edge coming over for the Stayers according O'Leary - reckon he could be a big player in this and still 20-1 nrnb.
It'll be his first time over the trip but wouldn't be surprised if he improves for it.
Incredibly consistent and enjoying his best season after a blip for colic.
Finished in the first 3 in 10 of his 11 starts and most he has ever been beaten is 5 3/4 lengths.
I love the "furthest they've ever been beaten" stat / angle ... it's even better than "never been out of the first 3" ... which I also do like generally.
Having rubbished Diol Ker, and tipped Beacon Edge NRNB before his last run, this race was actually hugely positive from the shit show of an update from the maroon team.
Not that it means they get close to winning ..... although within 6L will hopefully be exciting haha
