"Beacon Edge and Diol Ker could run in the Stayers’ but I’ll have to talk with Eddie and Michael (O’Leary) before a final decision is made.
“I think Diol Ker might be better suited by a flat track like Aintree."

Interesting............
Then, there is Fury Road who is still in the Stayers’ Hurdle on Thursday week. Gordon Elliott indicated that last year’s Albert Bartlett third would skip the fixture following his narrow defeat at Navan last month, but Eddie O’Leary, of Gigginstown House Stud, has suggested since that the seven-year-old hasn’t been completely ruled out. We await news from Denise Foster over the next few days.

The remarkable thing about this race is the number of multiple winners there have been although not since 2013. Winners mostly come from the age range 6-9 with a preference for the younger end of that age range. There's clearly not much between Thyme Hill and Paisley Park and Lisnagar Oscar seems incredible value after his clear cut win in the race last year. Without a run it's hard to evaluate Benie Des Dieux
There is a speed argument that puts Sire Du Berlais' performance in last year's Pertemps as better than Lisnagar Oscar's but I've never been too convinced about speed arguments since each race is tactical in its own way and winning the race you are in is what counts. Even so SdB clearly likes 3m at Cheltenham in March. Flooring Porter has a nice line of form with SdB through The Storyteller and is the right kind of age. Bachasson is on 5 wins now but hasn't any form over 3m and is old for the race at 10-y-o. He was going well in an Albert Bartlett a few years ago when falling. Roksana may well prefer the mares' race.
So in order of preference taking into account current value for money:
Lisnagar Oscar/Flooring Porter/Sire Du Berlais/Thyme Hill/Paisley Park

I’ve only got him to win straight up but would be a massive boost if he comes
