Am a huge fan of this horse. Think he’d make an excellent chaser. Will be backing him for the RSA or any race tonight.

          • I know he was campaigned over 3 miles latterly, but he doesn't strike me as a thorough stayer, and I wonder if he he'll end more of a Marsh type around Cheltenham, but will get an easier 3 miles elsewhere.

The trouble with backing anything for the Marsh and the RSA is the big stables will be splitting horses between the two races, but the single horse stables like Greatrex, Fry, and Nolan may well be tripping over each other to avoid Envoi Allen.

We seem to have a real potential glut of novice intermediate and staying chasers this season, and the Envoi Allen factor will make it tricky to pinpoint what goes where right up to the point that we know his definite target. In fact there may also be some Marsh types that drop back to 2 miles if he goes to the Marsh as suspected.

            • Anyone fancy McFabulous from Nicholls yard for this. Followed his career with interest and another Nicholls inmate who Paul has given the kid cloth treatment last term ,firmly believe he way above average and staying over hurdles was music to my ears , Nicholls knows what it takes to win WH and I like it when horses only have the one target from a Ante post viewpoint.

He is right though, bad run or not, Sire Du Berlais at 14/1 or Lisnager Oscar at 14/1 should be a no-brainer.

The 25/1 about Lisnager Oscar was preposterous.

                      Hahaha, preposterous.
