Samcro at 20/1 is going to be a bet in this for me.

He's been rubbish this season to be fair but he was also running badly last season until the festival. He's a dual festival winner and twice the price of Melon - that doesn't make sense.

He's a better horse than Melon imo and I'm just going to trust Gordy to work his magic.

Anyone else like him at the prices?

Samcro is comfortably my biggest winner for this FM. I went back in on him for a third time a few days ago. He's always been my fancy for the race and his campaign hasn't put me off one bit. I just hope they send him there fresh like last season.

Don't know if it was like it before but cash out is suspended on 365, for me at least.

Edit: Just seen the stuff about Samcro, he's also my biggest winner in this race. I bloody love him though and back him for everything, haha.

I dont know mate, I've been pretty busy so haven't seen or heard much about it, just texts and whats app messages came in there. I checked here and felt better as here is on the ball.

This race is a massive quandary for me now as providing they all stay fit and well (and the rumours are quashed) then Mullins has three horses (Melon, Min and Allaho) who all would be seen to best effect from the front. Surely he won't be giving instructions to take each other on, so who will be the chosen one and which horses will be inconvenienced. My guess is Allaho won't have the pace, so may need to be ridden from behind, but will Melon and Min take each other on?

Has there been anything come out about Defi du Seuil since the Clarence House?
Another who has question marks surrounding him. And probably the only positive for his season for me has been that surely if he goes anywhere it'll be here.

IF JOB starts firing he's going to have some seriously well handicapped horses, because I have no doubt he has some talented animals, but the yard form has been fairly rubbish this season.

Same can probably be said for Olly Murphy's lot too.

i have decided to tie up a few points on Altior at 10/1 nrnb

Seems unlikely he will turn up but also seems likely he has lost a bit of his speed

If he is turned over at the weekend coupled with how good cps looks

They may just consider this,he does look like he needs a bit further these days

If he turns up he will be fav if he doesn’t no harm

Funny, because I cash out a portion of my crazy AP bet on Altior at the start of the season, and took 30’s on BEx earlier on for this

It’s all free credits, an emotional bet. Back him at big price, then I don’t need to worry about him on the day.

hard for me to removal emotion from those that have done me well, the likes of faugheen, sprinter sacre.... so for him, I’ll back him and cheer him on what ever race he’s in come march

Actually quite like that

He's go off single figures wouldn't he.... just not sure how much shorter....if he runs here, it's because they're almost admitting he's in decline... he's probably more likely to be retired at the festival than win at the festival now.


I feel a bit sad writing this, I've written him off, and he's a legend
