Crowdfunder - Fat Jockey Forum upgrade

Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

    Yes he's very ground dependent

    • That Durkan race looks awesome and better then most renewals for the Ryanair. In fact it'll probably be better than this years.
I'm sure one or two may duck it before they set off, but it's still a really good thing for racing.

How many better chases have there been in the last like the last 5 years if they all stand there ground?

I've just laughed at someone who said that and now I'm struggling for examples off the top of my head

There are going to be some people losing money on the "win today and Ryanair" market!

I wouldn't completely agree with that tho, Allaho was expected to win first time out last year and Townsends comments after saying he would have won on him if the race was rerun the very nxt day sounds to me Allaho was very close to full fitness, i thought too much use of him was made that day and his jumping wasnt great, i know mullins said he probably just needed it but i wouldnt be put off backing him first time out and he's still only 6 and in the golden age range for improvement. Just an opinion of course.

He was a big drifter on the day so expectations can't have been too high

Don't get me wrong id be delighted if he won as he's my ryanair fancy

He hasn't won on either of his seasonal reappearances. On his first start for Mullins he was fav and lef 3 furlongs out but found nothing and was a beaten 4th nearly 5 lengths behind the winner.

He definitely seems to me a horse that needs a run or two before he is backable.

Not sure what that says about CPS. Is he a tricky ride?

David Mullins seems to be the main jockey for Willie at Punchestown, and he is on Allaho.
Though Patrick can only ride a certain amount, as an amateur, against the pro’s, so he may have had first pick in the John Durkan, and took Min.

Everything we have seen he has been straightforward.

To be honest that's where I thought Paul would be , he's the best horse they have out Sunday & their QMCC horse so he goes to ride.

Patrick yes limited rides, Rich has always liked him on his horses so may have influenced that. Faugheen , Douvan , Sharjah etc

Patrick has only had 2 rides in chases since the restart I wouldnt be keen to have him riding Min if my money was on him

                    • ....a few comments from Willie Mullins;

Willie Mullins has some of his big names in action on Sunday. Check out our star columnist's thoughts on his full team.

                      • Have already backed Allaho for this but still think there is juice in his price. If he wins on Sunday he'll go around 3/1 so I'm tempted to top up on him. Can see him jumping out and leading from start to finish.

I'm chipping away at him, not convinced he will win tomorrow, not great record first time out and Min loves the race, albeit his toughest opposition hes had in the race with quality runners, i still feel he's gunna be hard to beat. Happy with Allaho with a decent run. Bookies probably still cut after that though!

                          • I think that Clan des Obeaux over a stiff 2 1/2 M and not a stamina stretching 3 1/4 M would win this.

Yeah, but I can see Clan winning the KG or going close and Cyrname outshining Frodons performance today at not staying
Cyrname to me is more likely to go Ryanair although I'd be happy if Clan did - backed both on the off chance one of them does

Surely we’ll never see CDO at Cheltenham again
