Todays performance was a big step forward for Cheltenham, as he went left handed for first time in years. and showed the previous reluctance to be misplaced at best.
A big ask to beat Caln des obeaux IMO at kempton and so a good showing at least and the ryanair would look a good option.
Obviously if he wins the KG then thats probably not a good thing for Ryanair punters.

Put it this way, the owner and trainer weren't being asked about the Ryanair post race were they

I disagree that it's "terrible", as it confirms Cheltenham is now an option.... before this race, left-handed was a no.

It also means King George next..... so all that we really need is him out stayed in the King George and this becomes a very likely target? (Or more likely).


As stated above though, I would have absolutely no issue at all with him ignoring this race... zilch.

If he doesnt think hes fast enough for this then keeping him fresh after the king george and going for Aintree or punchestown makes sense

Rubbish 3 miler today. Won it ok, but he beat a handicapper and a horse rated 146
What happens if it comes up a bog on Gold Cup day, I doubt Cyrname would stay the extened 3 miles on good ground, never mind if it comes up testing

That's not just disappointing but seems stupid also.
