For me, he had a very clear target in the GP (so much so that Elliott had literally said it) and he was ante post fav.
He missed that race, and a new plan has been formed...and I'm a fan of it.
The TWAR beforehand is still worse priced that the NH bets were, and that's his target, so I'm not too concerned about not being on TWAR myself.
My point would be, if you had no idea what his possible Cheltenham target was, TWAR wasn't a good bet..... for example, he'd be a rubbish 20/1 bet in the Marsh, or even the RSA that wouldn't be that exciting.
Doesn't matter now of course, you've landed on the right result.

Anyway, he won't be winning the Ryanair

That was only his third run over fences and he's only 6 so who knows how much improvement there is to come.

Was running a big race before tipping up in the Hennessy and made mistakes at Leopardstown which ended any hope there, nothing to say those mistakes won't reappear today but he still appears to retain ability so couldn't let teh 20/1 go 5 places....

I've not backed itchy feet aside from a small speculative bet for the gold cup.
after today i'd like to think they'll try him up in trip, but likely they go the other way.
It's well worth remembering that many novices from the season before fail to impress early in the season but can quite often progress until march.
Some very high profile horses did so last year and managed to come out after christmas and win and run some big races.
Just off the top of my head.

I know easy game has the fitness edge but Samcro is a class above him.
