Did anyone clock PM comments re Allaho pre Melon ride? He was talking way more candidly than normal and basically said Allaho is probably just a Grade 2 animal - that's not a direct quote, but it was something along those lines

Looking at the top of the market (likely runners) in this race, most of the horses would be coming into this after a very disappointing run.
Min - pulled up
Imperial Aura - unseated
Saint Calvados - unseated
Melon - poor run, though does have excuse of wrong trip, likely be better at Cheltenham
Samcro - same as Melon
Maybe it's always a similar situation with this race since it's usually for horses that aren't Champion Chase or Gold Cup quality, but just seems especially poor for the top of the market.
Allaho definitely coming into the race on the back of his best run this season, same for Mister Fisher (not sure about the form but was visually quite impressive) and I guess you could include Fakir D'oudairies in that if he comes here.
Very hard race to work out though.

Sorry for the dig, can't remember who it was that actually said it.... but once again, this race falls apart.... at the moment "grade 2" Allaho is the most likely winner....

Fakir has barely fired this season though it was a step in the right direction yesterday.
