If you get what I mean in that riddle
Looks like the bookies do to.
I feel Min is being under estimated (again) though.
However, I'm on 'em both so I don't care right now

Min is one of those horses that seems to divide opinion.
He's been nitching up G1 wins, but every time he does you can knock the form.
Ryanair, just holding on beating Saint Calvados
Today, pulling out all the stops to beat Tornado Flyer
I'm a bit fan nowadays, but I can see why people will be able to say they don't fancy him in March.
I must say I'm surprised Imperial Aura is still favourite in some places, I know which of the two I'd be backing!

To be fair he's out to 16/1 - he shouldn't ever have been any shorter than that really given he was 10/1 and so was Min for most of the summer.
Surely price won’t go anywhere though?
Still think this is his best race, lead from the front, potentially use what stamina he has to get them all at it. He does stay 3m just not as well as the top staying chasers.

It's nice to see the bookies push out a horse for a change and I think the 16s for Allaho is a decent price as I personally would ignore today's run. I would back him if I wasn't already on.
Min is now the right price and should be favourite imo but he's just a horse who I've never taken to although I've backed him enough times! Saint Calvodos could possible have beaten him this year if he had jumped the last cleanly imo and I've backed him as this will be his target and he could still be improving as 2 years younger than Min. I think he is better than the yard's other stable star, Simply The Betts, who some had high hopes for in this race but I'm hoping he keeps on disappointing until he turns up at Cheltenham in the Ultima and not the Ryanair.
The 2 others I have backed are Samcro and Riders Onthestorm. I was disappointed Samcro was a NR today as wanted to see him disappoint again for his price to go out as I think there's only 1 race they really want to win with him this year and it will be this one. Riders really impressed me last year and it was still too early when he fell in this last year.

I was in a box and kept having to explain to my clients who were congratulating me on my smart cover strategy that I had, in fact, not placed the bet

you don't ride a front running 3 miler stepping down in trip out the back if you are trying, unless the pace completely collapses the horse has no chance of making up the ground

Weird one because Davy Mullins is usually a good lad to get a horse out in the front and pop away. Unless he was instructed to try something new. Horse never looked right thoug, I'd half feared he'd gone wrong as the fog was so bad and he dropped like a stone out the back.
