Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

Min is an obvious one yeah, do you think any of the others will stay in from archie's post below?

He doesn't mind running horses against each other (contrary to some peoples beliefs)

    • I took a guess at what way he'd fire his mares for the Royal Bond etc. and got it horribly wrong.

I'd say he will run Min for sure, and then possibly Tornado Flyer!?

      • You'd have to assume it'll be a first stringer, and a second stringer (who a loss wouldn't destroy)...

Melon and Tornado Flyer wouldn't lose a helluva lot in defeat to Min.

I'd be surprised if he started Min and CPS in the same race although they obviously have clashed before - still, I think it's one of those two, and one of the others.

I think it's a bit too deep a race for Allaho to start out in this season?

Patrick could maybe ride Melon, Paul on Min.

Maybe Danny Mullins on Tornado Flyer if he has another.

        • Youd think the grade 2 2 mile chase at Cork on Sunday would be a better starting point for chacun if they want to get a run into him before Christmas

If I had to guess of those I would predict Min will run on Sunday in Punchestown before going straight to the DRF. Tornado Flyer will also run in that race. Allaho and Melon will go straight to Christmas and CPS will run at cork on Sunday to get a race in this year before he runs at Christmas.

Just kidding, that's exciting, I liiiike him for this a lot. His price has never been generous though. Hasn't stopped me backing him but he needs to put in a good performance to justify the faith.

                • Eddie O'Leary quotes "I'd say Samcro would get three and a half miles." when talking about him for this weekends John Durkan.

I'm hoping there are no Gold Cup thoughts as I fancy him and thought the Ryanair would be his main aim!

                    Could very easily happen

Hardline wasnt far behind him last year

It'll be a damn shame if he doesn't get tested at 3 miles anyway. For a horse so adored he has been messed around so much.

This is the man who said Tiger Roll would be retired after his Cross Country win in 2019 and who also said Samcro was gone and they’ll be looking at handicaps around this time last year.
Just put the man on mute seriously...

Yeah very fickle. After Samcro won the JLT he said he could win over any trip once he can breathe.

Battleoverdoyen will never finish ahead of Min, in a horse race.

It could not happen "very easily", he''ll be thrashed

Hardline not being far BEHIND, has absolutely no positive impact on Battleoverdoyen finishing AHEAD.

"Easily happen", come on.... anything could happen, that's not the same as easily happen.

Hahah, no idea which emoji to pick, they're all so fun.

                            • Risky as someone who hasn't posted for a long time but I have a real soft spot for BOD. His form when he performs i think generally stands up to some scrutiny and I really like his jumping. I think he's a horse who might enjoy getting his own way when he can get into a rhythm though so don't expect Min to leave him to it Sunday

Battleoverdoyen is a much better horse than hardline

If min runs like he did in the Durkan last year then there is every chance imo a race fit Battleoverdoyen beats him

and there is every chance with Min being older he will regress this season

At 7/4 and 9/2 i know who i think looks more appealing
