The not quick enough part especially.

But it's the same fella that thought he couldn't go left handed.
That's fine for a while, but it was obvious from a couple of years back he was a different animal.
If he can beat Altior over an intermediate trip, he's fast enough to win a Ryanair.

So what he;'s saying is absolute bollocks.

It's Nicholls being bullish about him being a Gold Cup, as that's a proper race.

Yep, he talks fast and gets out of breath after a big win, like an over excited weeble.

His staying chasers won't all win the Gold Cup or run in it.

He said the same (going for the Gold cup) when Frodon won the Cotswold Chase a couple of years back and I backed for the Ryanair on exchange 22-1 off the back of it. Cos I couldn't see him running all of his in the Gold cup.

          • I like SAMCRO at 14/1 for this. More than fair.

He’ll be trained to the minute for this and is likely to meet with defeat a couple of times in the winter ground.

Cant see him running in any other race at all so it looks really fair.

Id love a price on CHACUN POUR SOI- has anyone managed to get one?

the only way I see chacun pour soi MAYBE going for this would be if Min was injured and CPS was beaten in all 2m starts prior to cheltenham and looking in need of the step up in trip?

              • I am drawn to Samcro, won on him in the marsh and ballymore and sucker for horses that win for me. Would agree with Kev that he doesn’t attack fences enough, in marsh he stalked his way around and when asked at last few fences to attack them didnt and gave melon every chance. Still this race could be one of best at festival with some of horses already mentioned and my money will be on samcro, because of past performances at the festival and the money he’s already won for me

Loving the thought of the "over-excited weeble" getting out of breath.

                    a) by 10 lengths
                    b) by 20 lengths
                    c) by a distance with the jockey doing acrobats

                          • I'm more interested to see how Imperial Aura gets on today and whether he shows the potential to become a serious contender for the Ryannair. As said previously, Galvin seems to have franked the form of the Northern Trust Hcap and Imperial Aura looked a good winner. Vinndication ran well enough yesterday on seasonal debut so hopefully Kim Bailey has IA at least at a comparable fitness level for today.

It would be Imperial Aura in today’s race that interests me most, and also Brian Ellison getting Windsor Avenue back to the track.

Quite impressive over a decent field.

                                WH only cut to 20/1

I think I will back him each way, surely nowhere else for him to go?
