This could be the race of the festival.....
He could easily turn out to be well up to winning this but 10/1 or thereabouts just seem no value to me six months out and again, for those who make books, he is likely to be one of plenty that gets backed just to level the book...

It 100% won't be, ever.
It'll be full of horses not good enough for Gold Cups, and horses that've been beaten at 2 miles. With handicappers stepping into the division and some old horses back for more.
It might be a pulsating finish (Min), or a staggering performance if we get a superstar (Vautour) - but it will never be the race of the festival

Lobos's No1 fan and Ruperts already found a pressure point.
Don't worry TFR some people like the race a bit.
Although I personally think Allaho will and should run in the Gold cup.
Will depend on a lot of factors though over the season and who's available and running in March.
Willie will slot him in somewhere.

Haha, it's just a line that gets said so often and I have a ready made response to blurt out.
I've backed Allaho for this race, and still agree he should go for the Gold Cup, cos this race doesn't need to be at the Festival

I layed Allaho for the RSA last year and remember thinking all the way round "wow, what a performance, what a beautiful jumper this beast is", but just felt that the trip did him. Therefore the Ryanair seemed the logical choice and I promised myself I'd back him in until single figures!
As for the Ryanair itself I actually like the race and have always thought it to be a great addition, especially to the Thursday racing which for me was always the weakest day! Maybe because I've done alright out of it as well it lives longer in the memory!

Every now and again when you throw enough booze into a drink you get an amazing cocktail!!!!!
