He should know where prize-money comes from, punters cash funds the levy (not bookmakers, they only have our lost money), the genpops cash funds the firms of race sponsors and corporate hospitality at racecourses, and also pays for the racecourse gate receipts (when we are allowed in).
He needs to get with the programme in the 21st century, and keep people informed if he has a plan to withdraw if the ground is worse than soft.
Then.............to withdraw the horse when the ground wasn’t bad, but insist when interviewed, that it was bad........
put the sickly cherry on a very icky sicky cake that he served the public in the last 24 hours.

Yes, a good few LBS of improvement needed to get there
Indeed the average OR is 168 for the last 10 years so she would only have 6lbs to find officially in a normal yearLast edited by Dessie the great; 5 December 2020, 09:10 PM.

Do you think she needs to run to 163/170 with the allowance? Official rating for Politologue last year was 165.
Only saying this on the basis of Chacun and Altior perhaps not making it like last year, I know she would need a rating of around 170 to be competitive with them.

I have a confession...
I've just spent the last 45 minutes looking at Battleoverdoyen for the.... one second, do I really want to say this..... yes..... the Queen Mother... OMFG
I really need to suspend my betting accounts, go to bed and stop wasting my life on trying to get the top 5 in the QM better beaten!
For me... I dont think this horse stays, he looks like a cruiser to me
Was ridden wide in the RSA, most likely looking for better ground. Ran well within himself for most of the way until he got to the hill on the run in, had nothing left
He appeared to have shocked the world by winning LTO, but shown enough for me to suggest a drop down in trip could do the trick
Ryanair most likely target, but pleasantly surprised to see that he's been priced up for the QM - maybe I'm not the only fool out there. How can Mr Slow Boat be a QM horse, dont ask!!!
My predictor for tomorrow, Battle will travel really well into the race but then blow up 2 furlongs out - I dont think he'll like this testing ground in a hot race, GE will be like "I need to send Usian Bolt to the QM"... turns up in March and wins!
I'm backing him. 0.5pts @ 55/1 on exchange - dont hate, how can you hate, I've just donated to 'charity'

I will say I was very pleasantly surprised with BOD's show of speed LTO. I had always marked him out as a one paced boat, but he looked nimble the last day.
Couldn't back him for less than three figure odds atm as I feel he won't run at the festival at all but I think he'd be an interesting shout for the Ryanair. A lot might weigh on Samcro and their plans for him or if he goes off the boil this year.

Looking forward to seeing how Chosen Mate runs against Chacun today. On a line through Greaneteen, who he beat comfortably in The Grand Annual , Chosen Mate has every chance of being competitive in the Champion Chase. He's likely to need the race after having time off with a nasty cut picked up in his last race but I think he'll still put up a decent performance.
