Why are so many negative about Politologue?

Not so much negative, he has to be respected and he's such a proper, honest horse. If the others don't turn in March then i'll be on him, but at this point he still falls into the 'best of the rest' category as he always has. That's all it is for me rather than any disrespect.

In other news: Quite enjoyed Nicholls comments just then about being surprised Altior didn't turn up as the ground isn't that bad. Nicky is full of shit lets not beat around the bush.

I doubt many will see positives in Rouge Vifs performance, but I'm happy with that on ground he has put in a lot worse performances on.

And to think they could have made it even less competitive and withdrew him, but they didn't bottle it.

A very prickly interview from.Henderson with Lydia Hislop on racing tv. Lydia making the argument that the times showed it was only soft going, Henderson saying its heavy and sticky. Also Altior may of won, but what would it take out of him. and took.two months to get it back after Ascot last year. Looks.like a man who is had his fill of the remarks coming his way. Think its the most annoyed i've seen him, though he does tend to get very defensive.at.times.

Completely agree Kev, its her job to ask the questions, and she did well, was respectful but made the point about the ground. Henderson for me did not come out of that interview very well at.all.for me.

The whole bottomed him last season is bollocks. If running on soft today would bottom him for the season, then they need some good weather for the next races he's entered into.

Just look at the races he was entered into after Ascot last year, and the comments made at the time. None of them said he looks knackered.

Then he won perfectly well at Newbury.

It wasn't even that soft the day he lost to cyrname, but the myth has grown in little over the year that it was a season ending swamp.
