Sometimes I am strange . It was tongue in cheek FF91, no offence meant. I just didn't understand the purpose of bringing up old specials prices for a conversation today, that's all.

Even used the paddy power free bet with Altior to try to get some money on ferny hollow at 18/1

And have a similar free bet from the week before with altior and minella indo

So yesterday Altior was 4/5 for the tingle and 7/1 for the QMCC and the Bet365 double was 14/1

today the prices remain 4/5 and 7/1 yet the double is slashed into 8s.......

Don't know if they move markets or not, but that double was put up on Cheltmental's Ante Up video yesterday. Could be that or could be a coincidence.

Of all the races at the festival, this is currently the one that I am struggling to form an opinion on (and as such, haven't played much.... thus far);

CPS - Highly thought of, has been impressive at times, but fragile. 9/2? No thanks. Maybe one to play NRNB

Altior - One of the best 2m chasers that I've seen (in my albeit short lived love for the sport) BUT, indifferent last season and will be 11....

PTKO - I just can't put my finger on what, but I can't get excited about her. Maybe because she went under MY radar last season, maybe cos I've missed the prices, maybe cos she only just out-battled DDG last time out...

Rouge Vif - This is one that I have backed. Do I think he'll win? Probably not, unless he gets decent ground - BUT the price was right, so I'm on

Notebook - Got burnt last year - though he was a great forum plunge, his temperament worries me

Douvan - Next

Cyrname - Won't run here

Defi - Think he'll go Ryanair - now has plenty to prove at 2m (especially around Cheltenham)

Greaneteen - Don't think he's good enough - I may be wrong, but that's my gut feeling

Politologue - Backed him last year with a Free Bet as the price was too good (it's in my diary last year - if you can find it!!) and I would go in again with Freebies this year.
Again, don't think he'll win, but he'll be there or thereabouts at the bottom of the hill

Allaho - Won't run here

DDG - Would only interest me if Heavier than heavy

Min - Unlikely to run here

A Plus Tard - More likely than some, but still unlikely to run here

So.... I only have Rouge Vif backed at the moment and those I would consider now (without cash out or NRNB) are Notebook and Politologue.... but neither inspire me..

He did become keen to get on with things as they were walking in to the starter but all being told behaved himself quite well. Much better than at the festival/DRF last year

You've kind of done it. Back CPS and Altior and don't really worry about the rest in my opinion
