The times ain't bad... it just wasn't anywhere near soft like folk were making out & Rogue whilst looking class has prob only run to his rating,he's been given an 165RPR & Fusil158, both look generous to me.

Its the timings in comparsion to Fusil Raffles, who I'm sure most will say 'wont be winning a CCQM'
I like the Notebook angle too and 33-1 would look massive, if he'd have missed the arkle through a stone bruise.
WE'd have had him as the moral winner I reckon.
I'll almost certainly add him once I see some more evidence of how the novices are faring in open company.
Cant have Notebook at all. Course form a must. Nice performance from Rouge Vif in a weak race. He's got 20L to find with PTKO and they're the same price?????

I thought the same, but his form elsewhere stacks up really well, and the trainer clearly thought he was better than the mare.
So I'd be prepared to accept the crowd upsetting him theory, even though he did the same in Ireland and still won.
But he's a watching brief for now.

For me there's no question his (Notebook) chances improve significantly if 65,000 punters aren't there.
Will look to cover him in due course probably...
Betfred seem to have left Rouge Vif at 25/1 for the Tingle Creek.
If he is 16/1 for the Champion Chase, and between 8/1 and 12/1 for the Tingle Creek with all of the other firms, then I would think that Betfred tomorrow morning will slash Rouge Vif to single figures for the Tingle Creek.
Going to join in with some and back Notebook, for me 33s is value for a horse which beat Fakir, (from memory was giving the mares weight allowance when it beat it at Leopardstown), and that form line seems sound with Fakir going on to be a good second to PTKO in the Arkle. As Istabraq says a small crowd might play in its favour in March, and I take on board that its unproven at Cheltenham, but 33s has swayed me.

Rouge Vif cut to 12/1 from 25/1 for the Tingle Creek by Betfred this morning, bringing them in line with the best price available.
