Yeah been plenty in here crabbing the Arkle form but Rouge Vifs performance there suggests something very different, 66/1 is a nice price to grab but does it not just enhance the chances of PTKO ?
As for Rouge Vif's Arkle running, I've mentioned it a few times but we were with the owners on he day and they were very keen on his chances so they had him fit and ready for the Arkle, I've long held the view the front two (PTKO and Fakir) were very good but that isn't an opinion shared by many...
