If everybody totted up how many free bets that they've accumulated since March, and put them all on Chacun Pour Soi now, I think everybody would be very pleased with that position.

The desire is to spread free bets far and wide in the hope of landing on some big prices.... nobody seems to stockpile them and have one mega free bet on something like this!


It just looks wrong if you get a fiver and put it on something at single figures, but if you can get in the mindset of it being one GIANT free bet, it may pay off!

Hi Spectre, I've been doing this for the last few years and does work to be quite profitable.

It allows you to back something that you don't necessarily fancy unless everything falls into place, at a big price (ie. Politologue last year), or chip away at something that is too short, but you can't leave unbacked (also using roll-ups).

The majority of my AP bets (80/20) are with Free Bets - only using cash when I don't want to miss a price and have no FB available.

That may have only been a handicap, but off his mark giving loads of weight away, Rouge Vif off a mark of 156 and smashing his opposition on the bridle, has just shown the Arkle form to perhaps be pretty decent.

I wouldn't have Rouge Vifs Arkle run as his true running, that ground killed any hope. He needs good in the description, if that's the case he'd make up ground with the front two, IMHO.
