Got to fancy the WPM forecast now that Cilaos Emery is declared.

The King Pimm 's Cilaos Emery "without CPS" looking good now after Willie was waffling about him not running.

Now this.
His campaigning of the JP horses very late.
A lot riding on Shishkin and Champ for him I reckon.
He's pissed peoples (owners) money up the wall this season.

Only 3 of the 10 have a higher chase rating. Chacun, Politilogue and First Flow.
Not that hard to see, even if you don't like him. If everything matched their best form on Official Ratings, then he'd be 4th?

I don't like reading "can't see it", it's just always easy to make look an over the top comment.
Better ways of putting it IMO.
Cilaos Emery missed the Arkle, given Duc Des Genivres won it, and he thrashed her on the time before.... is it not a bit silly to just dismiss him?
Obviously he hasn't 'done it', but it's not that hard to see he's at least worthy of a mention.

DDG seems to be a bit of a Cheltenham specialist himself given that his best two runs have been around the old course.

He was highlighted at 25/1 (28/1) NRNB in the without market.
Given he's now best price 18/1, I'd say it was a good bet, and all I was doing was saying it was looking good now....was pleased for TKP to get a run for it....

So....
The mighty Altior is out of the festival. Gutted!!
I was a keen follower and backed him at the start of the season for this, on the basis I was yet to be convinced by CPS and his ability to remain healthy.
Such a shame, I just wanted to see whether he one last run in him
Unlikely to see him fly up that hill now
I think alot of people will still look back at that Ascot race, as its too much of a coincidence that both horses struggled to get back up to their best and have disruptive season
Such a shame.
