I am a punter first of all I’ll admit but there is something great about seeing a horse you’ve adored since it’s novice hurdling days win a gold cup, Minella Indo was foot perfect today and money aside it was some feeling to see him get his big day in the sun at the festival, hopefully he can come back next year and do the same

That’s amazing footage!! Love it
this is what ITV should be showing, instead the woke pleasing agenda
not only does this give average joe a look at the skill needed to ride a top class horse, but give us punters another perspective - you can really see how easily the Irish went past frodon and how quickly they went away
You can’t watch that and feel or speak of any negatives about the sport
would love to see any camera footage from Blackmore, without the background noise of the fans, there were at least 2 occasions when you could vaguely hear Blackmore shout out whilst trying to get a position
these jockeys do some much during a race which goes unnoticed
During the race, give us 1-2 good angles of the race. Then release drone or helmet cam footage to be used for reply’s and make it available online
doubt it would happen, but would love to have access to such footage

The best thing I saw all week was the jockey cam on Bravemansgame which showed Rachael and Bob Olinger leaning in then clearing away, as you say a totally different perspective on racing...

I agree more of this kind of thing and less of the ITV pundits' waffle would be great.
You know it's quick but this shows how quick it really is and how little time there is for jockeys to make decisions.
I was also struck how close the horses come together when challenging for position

Danny said that he gave Kemboy a breather on the second circuit but he didn't come back on the bridle when asked so he let him come home in his own time. He pulled out fine next day and may get an entry at Aintree.
For what it's worth, I thought that the blessed Bryony went too fast and wrecked her own chance along with ours. I'm still hopeful that we can retain the Punchestown Gold Cup.

....he was magnificent at Aintree a few years ago, love to see him there again. Going forward, be interesting if the Stayers is mentioned again for next year or will he be kept for the courses he likes.
Has the Grand National ever been mentioned?
