Has The Storyteller been confirmed here now after yesterday's super run ?? Think he would be a threat in the Stayers so would prefer him going for the big one.

Was just about to come out and ask if Champ wins his prep would be qualify too, but just saw the note on the bottom

Nortons who
Have to say whilst I don't apply trends religiously I am keen to understand how they affect performance/results and that heavy ground stat is one that's always stood out over the years.
I might just have to get A Plus Tard onside somewhere and I'm not a huge fan of the horse...

That said, I'd prefer APT's chances at Cheltenham although I'd be firmly back with Kemboy at Punchestown.
I see he was given the same RPR figure for his win yesterday as his 2nd in the Lexus. Great to see him win his first big one since the ownership debacle anyhow mate, congrats.

At Christmas, David had some stick for going too soon but, for me, he went too late because Kemboy stays very well without having a finishing kick. I thought he could have pinched enough of a lead that APT couldn't have clawed back. That 'very nice ride' earned the jockey a holiday for excessive use of the whip.

...chuffed to bits for you re Kemboy. Apologies if you’ve mentioned, but is the Stayers a serious consideration? (Surprised 33-1 is holding up).

As it stands, everything is still in the mix. That includes Cheltenham (Gold Cup or Stayers), Aintree, Punchestown and Auteuil. All you can guarantee is that Willie will leave his options open for as long as possible.

Lostintranslation: is there any hope he again runs a big one in the big one?
Similar form to last year.
Tizzards tend to improve in the spring.
Stats would disagree about winning after a failed first attempt but Native River did it from same stable.
Small fields likely skew this figure but hasn't been out of the first 3 in all completed chases.
Has ran 3 good races over fences on the New course so track obviously suits.
Price has drifted - 20/1 NRNB with PP - possibly a leap of faith but I think he could be a decent EW play.
