Confused as to if Monalee can travel or not with restrictions... anyone know?
I would have thought not and they have declared as not sure themselves how it will play out.
Which suggests there's been some kind of hold up with Champ and he needs more time. Neither would particularly be suited by the King George, but of the two you'd think Santini would be the least suited. If Champ was fit and well the runs would surly be the other way round, or Champ would have gone to Ireland as they planned.
Luck is a dividend of sweat. The more I sweat, the luckier I get.
Whatever he does, he has a better chance at Cheltenham than at Kempton...
!
It was probably the Boxing Day novice chase that put Santini on our radar 2 years ago, staying on well but not having the pace to win, so why does Hendo think that two years later he has a better chance over the same C&D against better horses ?
It's never easy to know what goes on at Seven Barrows but there have either been setbacks or he's avoiding a clash with other stable stars, all very frustrating because he can't win a King George but will finish 4th/5th and they'll celebrate a great run in an unsuitable race that puts him spot on...

That's exactly what it is. Fits in nice for a run on half decent ground and they'll pick up some nice 4th/5th place prize money.

( and ) I had a bright idea about what to do with Santini "
He has to drift doesn't he.... I hope he does and I'll back him and he'll lose and I'll claim it was a good price anyway for a Gold Cup 2nd beaten a shoulder
