Again Lobos, the difference was two and a half feet, I’d suggest it’s extremely difficult to pinpoint and justify what made that difference over 26.5 furlongs, of course we can all have an opinion but, once more, your post doesn’t claim opinion...

Who you’ve backed and what you stand to win is irrelevant, a sensible balanced debate where learning something sits above preaching blinkered views is what this forum is/should be about.
Where’s Q, maybe he needs to help with your interpretation...

We all know that it usually takes special circumstances for a horse to win a Gold Cup when he's run in it in previous years without success. Native River needed a bog and I suspect that you can say the same for Santini. His price is really skinny. Fair enough if you're on at big prices but his price has contracted without a run so anyone backing him today (in a single with real money) is, in my opinion, taking a huge leap of faith.

Nothing would please me more than seeing ABP win three in a row, and I mean that, but to have little acknowledgement of the rest of the field and still continue to comment makes little to no sense, unless you're after blind followers, like you're the next Scooby, who ironically put up ABP for his first Gold Cup at 33/1, which was a real feat.
I can see ABP winning, but what if he falls, what if he doesn't make the festival at all, you're left with nothing.

I am not picking on you btw. I think we all need to remove ourselves from threads where we add little to no value. For example, I haven't bothered with the Triumph yet, nor will I till next year because I believe it to be a complete waste of time - it's not a view that goes down particularly well, so I don't take part in the conversation because I have no value to add and I don't want to ruin others enjoyment.

I hope they have a tilt at the Grand National in the spring, he'd be a great sight round Aintree.
....I think they’ve already mentioned the National and not much of 33-1 left according to Oddschecker.

Every chance he could end up giving Tiger Roll a pound or two which I'm sure would please Giggs...
