A consistent theme throughout Frodon's career is him being underestimated and then doing what he was thought by most incapable of shortly prior to him doing it.

This is true and the horse isn’t to be underestimated, but like many I’m of the view a strong pace and extended trip won’t suit, he is likely to get picked up by seasoned G1 stayers...

Stop it you lot ! You just know Frodon and Bryony are going to run a huge race now and put 2 fingers up to you ! They have just won the King George and the GC isn't exactly looking the toughest or even classiest of line ups.
If Frodon jumps well, as he often does, he will be in the race a long way, but I will be shocked if he gets home well enough to figure in the finish.
Those that stay 3m2 with an uphill finish will figure in the finish as happened last year and every year.
LOL... so here my hard luck story, or just piss poor ability to pick out the Gold Cup winners (as far back as I can remember)
Come the fourth race, I dont what it is, but my brain packs up and heads off on his summer holidays... leaving my heart to work through the Gold Cup. I always appear to back the horse I would love to see win, instead of the horse thats most likely going to win.
2011 - Kauto Star to win big Place Acca. Pulled and Retired. Says it all
2012 - Sir Des Champs - 2nd
2013 - Bobs Worth - 5th
2014 - Silviniaco Conti - 4th, got suckered in, and didn't learn. Flat track/Kempton damn horse
2015 - Silviniaco Conti - 7th Told ya I didnt learn
2016 - Cue Card - F. Seriously though. FML
2017 - Cue Card - F. I'm an idiot
2018 - Might Bite - 2nd, OMG, thought I nailed it... f*cking ground!!
2019 - Clan Des Obeaux, what ever... backing flat track kempton horses again. Idiot
2020 - Clan Des Obeaux. WHY DONT YOU F*CKING LEARN!!!!!!
2021 - another loser
I will be honest here, I have backed Minella Indo at the odds, but only a small bet. It wont be my main bet, but when I do pick it, I'll make sure everyone knows so you can place lay it
In a sick kinda way.. this did make me chuckle. Who would you be backing if you had to have one as of right now? Just purely out of interest
Yeah, and was you a backer of the New One ? opatcho
Nope!! My ability to pick out winners is so much better on Tuesday's race cards. Biggest even acca win come from Faugheen, won on BVD both times, backed Annie Power, and also had max bet on Epatante last year.
I've spent 15 minutes looking at the Gold Cup, its just not a race I'm interests me... however, I have renewed hope and determination. If Newbury is cancelled this weekend, I'm going to spend some time on this race and pick out my selection (aka loser )
