I think the only double worth consideration is Cyrname to win the King George and Gold Cup @ 33/1 with Sky is the only one. You can't have one without the other -
What are peoples opinion opinions on Monalee for next years festival? Would you see him & Minella Indo being kept apart & Monalee going back for another go at the Ryanair? The best of his form seems to be over 3 miles, I doubt he’ll get as close in a gold cup again as he did last time. His reappearance today was hardly inspiring, but it was probably even worse last yesr and he went on to go down by only a head in the Savilles Chase & less than 2 lengths in the gold cup.Comment

Monalee is horse I just can’t call, he carried plenty of my money in Frodon’s Ryanair and was absolutely tanking turning in but appeared not to get home, so I was shocked they went Gold Cup last season and even more shocked the way he ran to the line so I can’t have a strong view on the horse or where he should go...Comment

Yeah he’s a hard one to weigh up alright. I think maybe he could of just been a better horse last season. He wouldn’t be my strongest of fancies in any case as I think he’s possibly a horse that could just always find one too good at the very top level, but there’s a big enough price available about him for the Ryanair available on the exchange (very small amount available mind) and I wouldn’t be phased by his underperforming today going forward at all.Originally posted by Istabraq View PostComment

He just doesn't like winning
Hes only won once since finishing second in the RSA
And he only beat anibale fly, who needs 4 miles, by a couple of lengths over 2 mile 4 in that one winComment

Minella Indo didn’t get out of 3rd gear there. A big positive was his jumping, solid throughout. When will he really be tested now?? Lexus at Christmas or a race before?Comment

Could be a case of recency bias, but Minella Indo is the one you'd have to be keenest on that we've seen so far this season given that Lostintranslation and Delta Work have not enhanced their claims so far with two below par runs.
Presenting Percy was good although at 16/1 you definitely can overlook him. Cyrname another to have been out and done well although the target is anything but clear at 16/1 too. Personally I couldn't see Frodon staying the trip well enough at 25/1 to get me excited.
Al Boum Photo at 6/1 and Santini at 7/1 versus Minella Indo at 8/1 though - I suppose if I could only have 1 bet at those current prices it'd still be Al Boum Photo, despite not running.Comment
