Got a real soft spot for MI since his 50/1 AB win a couple of years ago. Jumped on him @ 33/1 for the 2021 GC before the RSA started. Well chuffed with that run & he will give my boy TOTG a good run home!
The Sky special TOTG ?
I managed to grab some of that, not a fortune but enough to be interested....
Yeah, I was convinced he would win the RSA so wanted to jump on the price early.
Then Champ went and did what champ does
Yeah was about February I think.
Ultimately a 33/1 voucher is a lovely position to be in and we all know Champ has a horror leap in him even if he's another one that I've covered...
He was impressive but let’s not get too carried away lads. He’s beaten Milan Native. The comments about him being the second most likely winner of the GC now make no sense to me. Champ beat him last time and there’s nothing that suggests he’d reverse that form for a start.

Good performance though.
I'd back him every day of the week ahead of Champ again. Him and Allaho burned eachother out and a tired jump at the last in the RSA beat him. He comes on for his runs each season which is well known, only his 4th chase start to date and giving weight away too Milan Native who had a good run under the belt already, all while being probably about 60% fit.

You can say they burned themselves out but Champ still beat them both. The extra 2 furlongs will suit him based on how he finished.
I fail to see why MI is a more likely winner than Champ is when champ beat MI fair and square already.
I was surprised just how well MI travelled and jumped considering previously his seasonal runs were not very inspiring, alot of positives , no negatives.
Bookies impressed also , looking forward to his next run and hopefully learn more about him as he relatively lightly raced.
