One thing that may possibly make Concertista more likely to end up here is the return of Burning Victory for the mares hurdle.
Haven't heard anything about her mind you.

From RP
Honeysuckle, who remains unbeaten, will defend her crown in the newly sponsored Chanelle Pharma Irish Champion Hurdle on February 6 and a decision on her Cheltenham target will not be made until afterwards.
The trainer said: "Aspire Tower is a big horse and I just looked at him today and thought to myself, 'God, he's really filling out'. He really looks great now. He's lightly raced and you'd like to think there's more to come and that his best days are ahead of him. He'll head straight to Cheltenham and to the Champion Hurdle.
"Honeysuckle is in mighty form. We're aiming her for the Irish Champion Hurdle and getting her ready for that is the main target at the moment. The Champion Hurdle picture looks more open now, but we'll see how the Irish Champion Hurdle goes first and then decide what way to go at Cheltenham
Got to think she goes Champion if winning Irish.

2/5 Mares
7/4 CH
Or am I looking at this with rose tinted glasses?? (every multiple I have her in is for the MH!)

Bigger than 7/1?

On paper this years renewal will look stronger than last years imo, so beating that potential field means possibly only 2 of the English she’d need to worry about and 1 of those get 7lbs from in Silver Streak. Epatante obviously the other.
Unless they are just scared to have another number or letter next to her form other than a 1.
100% has to take her chance if winning back to back Irish Champions surely

if she wins and still looks a slow jumper and they run in the champion hurdle anyway you've probably chucked your money away
but then if she wins and jumps better you've got 7/1 on what will likely be a 3/1 second fav

Even though I don't really fancy her for it, if she wins the ICH, even poorly, it's not easy to pick 3 that'll definitely keep her out of the frame.
Weighing up optimum versus actual ability in her case?
