Goshen update
Goshen is set to make his seasonal debut over jumps in the International Hurdle at Cheltenham next month after being taken out of the Fighting Fifth Hurdle at the five-day confirmation stage.
Gary Moore has decided to wait for the Grade Two contest on December 12th rather than go to Newcastle.
It means Goshen will return to Cheltenham, the scene of his dramatic final-flight exit in the Triumph Hurdle in March.
"Everything's fine. There's nothing wrong," said Moore.
"Hopefully we'll see him in the International. We've decided to wait for that.
"I'm very happy with him so far."

He will have assumed Honeysuckle would start here.
I have a hunch that they think he may be up to the task.
But it's just that.
A Hunch
He could get hammered.

Big enough job splitting his own deck?
Also no, his runners/placed horses have been horses like Bacardys, Limini, Nichols Canyon, Vroum Vroum Mag, Shaneshill, Zaidpour, Diakali and Arctic Fire.
An above average bunch on the whole in the grand scheme of things, however I don't think it means Saldier is particularly special?
I'd love Honeysuckle to beat her, by just out staying him, by less than 7lbs.... meaning she'd have feck all chance in a 2m rematch and that he's just come out creditably over a trip too far - easy?Last edited by Kevloaf; 24 November 2020, 04:12 PM.

Recent times he has ran good horses but not his very best ones.
I remember him running Hurricane Fly in it who was second favourite to Solwhit, in the Fly's first Champion hurdle winning season.
He's a very competitive man.
Although he does play the long game.
Sometimes it's handy to lay a marker down.
He would dearly love to end Honeysuckles unbeaten run, that's for sure.
I like the entry
I'll really like the declaration.
But not sure if he'll beat the mare.
But it'll be a price thing and anything around 4-1 and I'll be interested. (after decs)

Would actually like to see that:
A) It would teach me for being so judgemental and narrow-minded
B) It would encourage Honey's connections to go for the Mares Hurdle even more.
COME ON SALDIER!
