It is just a question of when I back her really.

No spin involved - Fact is - they're not better - YET.
At this stage, in comparison to last year, they're inferior.
Just some people think they may prove better.
We'll see.

But that's not what I was discussing.
It was the relative merits of the up and comers from the last 2 seasons.
Klassical Dream would have improved the previous years Champion Hurdle. & Samcro the year before that.Last edited by Quevega; 16 October 2020, 03:37 PM.

It's Just not factual and more of an opinion.
One that may prove correct in time.
I wouldn't strongly disagree with it myself (the opinion that is).
But I'd be more towards the less likely side as over the years there have been horses with stronger credentials that have not made the step up. But on the flip side there have been others that have improved substantially.

It's stopped me backing her... although I do want to, and did attempt to get her in the book with a a double over the summer which only placed...so I have 2 pts at 15/4 for her to place
I might try and back something with her tomorrow actually. Hadn't thought about her for a bit.

And what about her form in other races last year - shit also.
The manner of the win was awesome looking but may well have been flattering due to the pace collapse I reckon.
And you can get 40's plus on exchange. For small stakes.
I wouldn't rule her out, but she's fairly exposed and needs to find a fair bit to win a champion hurdle surely.
Course form (which counts for plenty) is excellent though (albeit at a low level)
