What price will he go if he bolts up as expected? 10/1?

He could lap them and still be 14/1 for me...
Chosen Mate is a contender for the QMCC according to some
Half a stone in hand, ought to win on zee bridle though. A price cut would be disappointing to see given the time of year, but not unexpected.
Of course, he needs to win well to justify it. I wouldn't get excited about 14/1 now if that's the best price about him - that price assumes he has already put horses like this to be... which he hasn't yet.
Looking forward to seeing the prices. I wonder if he'll be priced and talked up as a future CH contender - I know "we" think a lot of him on this forum but that doesn't always relate to the wider racing world.Last edited by Kevloaf; 29 September 2020, 04:16 PM.

He went chasing some hurdle prize money in the Summer and was beaten half the track and took in a flat race a few weeks ago so has been given a fairly odd campaign.
Would it not make sense to wait for a suitable chase ?

Ahh I read it wrong, I thought he'd already been clipped to 14/1.
Depending on what price he is on Saturday I might back him ante post instead again at 20/1 before the run. Although I think he's 14/1 TWAR - which might be over looked on the day.
