I hate to get in the way of this conversation but...

How about Fact to File Saturday and Il Est Francais Ryanair double at 44/1... The theory being Fact to File winning Saturday would mean he goes GC and opens up the Ryanair for IEF, of course.

FTF is 7/2 for Saturday, and only 4/1 antepost for the GC. So the Saturday and Ryanair makes more sense than the Gold Cup option imo.


Also may cover some of my disappointment if GDC were to be beaten at the weekend.

Also ftf to win Saturday, doubled with spillanes tower in the ryanair if you fancy him. You'd imagine he'd be much more likely to go over if ftf is going for the gold cup.

I thought about this and did the Gold cup one.
Main thought process was that he may only need to get a bit closer to encourage a Gold cup run.
And I have such a strong Ryanair position on FtF from exchange prices early season.

Yeah could do - I thought about that as I like Edwardstone as a decent level but got reminded that Altior beat Fox Norton and Dodging Bullets who had come in to the race in what I'd consider better form

and I think Sir Gino is special

I've done the obvious double of Dancing City for BANC and Bioluminescence Mares Chase. Played it safe a little with DC @ 7/2 without NRMB & Bio @ 4/1 with NRMB. DC barring injury will be going BANC though Bio I am worried is ground dependent at the trip hence the safety aspect. Pays 21.5/1 which is fair and looks a good way of getting Bio covered.

Like it have done the same myself. Still have doubts over ballyburn. Yes he the class angle but it’s back class. He’s not shown the same level over fences as he had over hurdles IMO. Unimpressive debut, walloped by Gino then all out to beat Yoke Park. He’s 100% beatable.

What about Argento and Galopin a Friday special for the same owners. Argento’s form with the fav gives him more than a good chance of a place and his recent win looked good as well. Not exactly an ew double though!
