Depends if JP wants to just leave TNL as his only Turners horse if they believe he's that good. Can see him throwing 3 into the Supreme to take on what people may think is a soft fav in Mundi.

I’d be very surprised if JP doesn’t have one of WPM’s in the Turners, with some of the Irish form. So I’d still find your thought process wrong.

He's not won the Supreme for a very long time so I reckon he'll throw plenty at it as it looks the more open race . That would make things easier still for TNL to win the Turners. That's my thinking. Willie will try very hard though to change JP's mind as Mundi is his baby this year.

I hate to get in the way of this conversation but...

How about Fact to File Saturday and Il Est Francais Ryanair double at 44/1... The theory being Fact to File winning Saturday would mean he goes GC and opens up the Ryanair for IEF, of course.

FTF is 7/2 for Saturday, and only 4/1 antepost for the GC. So the Saturday and Ryanair makes more sense than the Gold Cup option imo.


Also may cover some of my disappointment if GDC were to be beaten at the weekend.
