    • Had a little bit of fun with the related double of...

      It's For Me
      Sir Gino
      Ballyburn (RSA)

Only 26/1 ATM, but represents a pathway through which Ballyburn gets stepped up in trip. It's clear that Mullins doesn't see Impaire as a 2 miler (for right or wrong) imo and not sure who else he'd have as Paul's Arkle ride given the way results have gone. Still think Ballyburn more likely to go Stayers than RSA personally but need to find cover somehow

      • If Ballyburn wins today
It leaves Sir Gino still a potential stand in for the Hill.
        so the 103-1 double
        Ballyburn arkle
        Gino champ hurdle
I think is worth a small stakes bet.

Track and weights give Gino a chance today obviously- and if he jumps like they said.
But ballyburn will be really trying and was last years outstanding novice.

A bet I’ve done but I do have the other combinations already in the bag.
Anyone with the Hill Gino double should probably have a saver on this as even if Gino wins today he’s still a possibility for the champions hurdle if the Hill has an issue

        • Sermandzarak (today) and Butch Cassidy (Turners) pays 110/1 currently.

Sermandzarak ran Butch Cassidy close in what looked a hot maiden hurdle. The third, Shuffle The Deck, won convincingly NTO too.

It’s a bloody hot looking renewal at Leopardstown today, but Sermandzarak has race fitness and a good level of form. He’s come in for support too (9/4 from 3/1).

I'd say this could be as good a maiden as we will see this whole season

Cannot wait for it, only worry be the Mullins form

Jesus yeah some early morning drift that is

I'd only looked on oddschecker - 5/4 on books, 5/2 on the machine

                  • …..getting a couple of JOB e/w doubles in the book whilst Banbridge is still on offer at decent GC odds;

                    Banbridge (GC)/Fakir (XC) 883-1
                    Banbridge (GC)/Busselton (XC) 1,773-1

Both with 365. Tempted to throw Lark in the Mornin for a whopping Trixie but i’m undecided which handicap he might turn up in.

I think they’ve another lined up for the Coral Cup. So my opinion is that he’s probably being aimed at the County.

If it's the one I have down as a potential they'll need to get two more runs into him as he's still a novice, I believe?

FWIW I think County too for Lark! Just got him onside earlier today! Risked without NRNB!
