With Down Memory Lane and Mirazur West disappointing lto the JP brigade is looking, for the time being at least, a little less deep in talent now. It appears that A Dream To Share may make an appearance soon. There are two scenarios. 1 he disappoints or doesn’t set the world on fire in which case he is out of the picture or 2 he wins and jumps impressively. If the latter transpires connections could consider splitting him and Jeriko. Both the Jockey and trainer have alluded to JDRs stamina and so stepping JDR up could be discussed. JDR prices for the Ballymore fluctuate wildly and interestingly Unibet are the second lowest of all the non nrnb firms.
For those with PP accounts the ADTS supreme , JDR Ballymore double pays 188/1.
Many of us may be exposed to ADTS coming firmly back into the supreme picture and similarly many of us would be exposed to JDR stepping up. This is potentially an affordable way to mitigate a little for both events.
For small stakes I can see your point but with JP the horses are with different trainers, different countries, not that that should matter.
If he has the strongest dart on each side of the Irish Sea I can’t see a scenario where he splits them. Different maybe if the same trainer has 2 of his horses imo.

I like this.
Would soften a potential blow to my JDR Supreme bets
Will have a little on that
Cheers RB

Yes it was only intended as an affordable mitigating bet for folks vulnerable to ADTS firmly reentering the supreme picture and owners feeling that they had the best two novices and could win both races. The nrnb prices suggest the owners wouldn’t be a million in thinking this. However you are of course most probably correct
Still think Ballyburn goes Ballymore but would feel pretty exposed in my Supreme book if Ile Atlantique bolted up in the Lawlers… 25/1 for the Ile Atlantique Lawlers / Ballyburn Supreme (NRNB) double seems good cover
On the back of this and despite what I said earlier... I'm not against the more attacking version of this. Ballyburn Supreme and Ile Alantique Ballymore double at 254/1. In fact I've thrown a free bet at it.

Won’t that require Ballyburn form to take a knock …seems a little counterintuitive …more like an unrelated bet

Guess it depends how the race develops and how Firefox was to run on Sunday to a degree, but it's fair to assume Ballyburn has come on a fair amount since they met and I'd be happy enough to ignore that here.
The relationship is purely Mullins bingo based. If Ile Alantique runs and wins on Sunday he'd likely go fav for the Ballymore, pushing Ballyburn towards a Supreme.
I’ve always felt Ile atlantique to be a bit more of a stayer so have just added in case the race on Sunday becomes a key piece to the jigsaw
firefox ballymore 7/1 with ile atlantique Albert 25/1 207/1 double
think I will also add Firefox supreme and ile atlantique ballymore 254/1 double
BA - Grey Dawning
Ultima - Broadway Boy
NH Chase - Apple Away
Plate - Ginny's Destiny
Tad ambitious I know but only for small stakes!
Potentially Apple Away could also go Mares Chase and Broadway Boy for NH Chase. Like to think connections will now commit to the BANC for Grey Dawning though. Not seen anything yet to beat him in Ireland in my opinion. Improved past Stay Away Fay over here.
I'm sure everyone already has the El Fabiolo (Clarence House) + Jonbon (Ryanair) double in mind ahead of the weekend. But another one I'm considering is EF + Dinoblue (QMCC). If Jonbon doesn't go then there must be a decent chance she could turn up there? Especially with JP having Limerick Lace for the MC too. Lots of possibilities and none of them may come to fruition of course.

I don't like the El Fabiolo to win going on to something else in the QMCC. Even if it meant Dinoblue more likely to run I don't see it as a great price still, as if El Fabiolo is good enough to properly move Jonbon's target then surely he becomes banker material
Jonbon would wallop Dinoblue?
I'll over think all of these this week
Played the El Fab / Jonbon already though without NRNB

I think an El Fabiolo to win by 5+ lengths & Jonbon to the Ryanair double will be my play, if it’s a narrow margin victory i can’t see Nicky not chancing his arm again in March.
I think one has to take into account the fitness levels of EF when thinking about these bets.
Just because Energumene imo was not cherry ripe when he came over both times for this race.
Not saying that will happen with EF, but worth considering imo
