Mahler mission (NH chase): related novice hurdle form at Doncaster The real whacker (RSA): obviously
Indigo breeze (Kim Muir): 3/4 length behind at Cheltenham earlier in season but will be handicapped to sub 145. If the real whacker is a 155 horse and could win an RSA, this guy has to be a cert
    Love this one

Unfortunately, we already know, it's a no.

My "whacker not included" RSA book is very much ok with this!

          • This is a paragraph from an article by Ben linfoot on the sporting life website. full article here - https://www.sportinglife.com/racing/...y-races/207308

"Is a race like this ideal for a championship contender at Cheltenham? I don’t know, but it’s hardly a new phenomenon. Indeed, the last time an Arkle winner prepped for Cheltenham in a two-runner race it was 1999 – and it was in the Kingmaker.

A young Paul Nicholls saddled up Flagship Uberalles at Warwick and Choc Thornton ensured the 9/4 shot beat Martin Pipe’s 1/3 chance Tresor De Mai by a head in a mighty match. At Cheltenham the pair finished first and second in the same order."

For anyone who likes Jonbon for the arkle might like to consider this related double.
Having been given only a 1lb rise calico will surely go for the grand annual

            41.5/1 with william hill nrmb

              • ….Venetia Williams had 2 big priced 2nds with Funambule Sivola (Champion Chase) & Pink Legend (Mares Chase). Both appear to be heading in that direction again and might be worth a small e/w play. FS is 40-1 with 365, PL 33-1 in a few places.

883-1 double with BV NRNB (860-1 365 NRNB).

                • Is there any clever combinations tomorrows with the Red Mills / Ascot Chase and Ryanair.

Shishkin and Haut En Couleurs running for Donnolly's
Fakir D'oudaries and Janidil running for JP

I can't think of any that make loads of sense.... best I can think is Fakir D'oudaries tomorrow with HEC for the Ryanair (26/1) ... as if Shishkin loses he is less likely to run and HEC 'may' hack up in Ireland, as he has the easier race on paper.... and also has Fakir 'covered' from when he fell when they met.

Then could back Shishkin NRNB for the Ryanair at 4/1 and just assume he either wins or doesn't go.....

Back to this in the morning

                  • Lazy one this but Shecouldbeanything in the 14:40 at Punchestown representing the Moscow Flyer form, so I've doubled her with EIP in the Ballymore.

                        Is this a deliberate spoonerism??

                          • Fakiera and Indigo Breeze 764/1

Same owner for Gordon ..... stable tour says:

                            Fakiera
National Hunt Chase, 33-1 / Kim Muir
The National Hunt Chase is a possibility for him, or else the Kim Muir. We'll decide nearer the time. He was disappointing in the Thyestes but is better judged on his run in the Porterstown at Fairyhouse.

So we could assume (and this is a leap) that perhaps they get split with same jockey in each race?

Wild, but the extreme distance is Fakiera's best form?and Indigo Breeze is just a solid chance.

Gordon Elliot came out with a cracker during a recent interview. I think he was talking about American Mike and the fact that they had given him a thorough MOT after his poor running at Navan and he was adamant they'd 'left no turn unstoned'
