Hopefully the ground is like a ploughed field by the time the AB comes round

    • Terrible odds, but the 1-2 of Ferny and Bolly from last season to triumph in the novice chases?

Contemplating making it a triple threat with GDM too

That’s the main worry isn’t it; if he actually needs it that soft then unless there’s a deluge & they water continually the track may have dried out a fair bit come 2.30pm Friday. Can obv. say that about any horse & ground conditions though.

        • On the subject of Robcour too I’ve put a related quad on (that’s obv. very speculative) & then made me think they could easily be top owner this year.
          Gerri Colombe - Ballymore
          Bob - Marsh
          Jumping Jet - Mares Novice
          JWM - Bartlett

Earlier this season I did combination ew trebles and four fold on Magic Daze (Arkle) 50/1, Bob (Marsh) 4/1, JWM (Bartlett) 25/1 and Gin On Lime (Mares) 20/1. The fourfold pays just shy of 100,000/1 but I (realistically) dream of having four places!

He did look like a tractor pulling away from the farm hands struggling to walk on the rutted fields of the farm.

              It wasnt pretty.

Luke Harvey seems to think Champ will go for the Cotswold Chase. I think he'll end up in the Stayers but the Gold Cup does look very open after the last few days racing so it's a possibility.
