Cheers Kev, I think I will have a little wager on that.
    116 now with 365

Might look quite shrewd if the support for Fusil Raffles is justified today.

One bad jump did it for Fusil, may not have won anyway, but a lot closer for sure.
        was worth a go

          • For those worried about the possible switch of Appr It to CH, might be worth of couple of insurance doubles...

            Ferny / Appr It (CH)
Blue Lord / Appr It (CH)

Willie only really likely to switch Appr It if he thinks he has good cover in Arkle.....and both these would obviously shorten anyway without Appr It

            Still decent prices available

For those not so sure of the value of these bets.....last year was living proof they can come true.....and was lucky to have done a couple with Appr It switching to Supreme and Bob and GDM for Bally......was one of my best returns

Surely the first and much more likely switch especially if he’s declared over the middle distance on the 28th is that he goes for the Turners/Marsh. AI’s price of 6/1 for that race appeals more to me to double with FH Arkle

Tend to agree re more likely and usually bet when entries out.....but think lot of people may have done the Arkle / Turners reverse doubles at start of season

Personally, don't mind a few scenarios in my doubles with horses really want....as value usually pretty good....and has worked well past few years

                  • Just looking back through some previous Festival form lines and think there is definite potential in some related bets from the 2020 Supreme:

                    Yankee;
                    QM - Shiskin
                    Stayers - Abacadbras
                    Gold Cup - Chantry House
                    Ryanair - Asterion Forlonge

                    Other contenders from the race:
                    QMCC - Captain Guinness
                    Arkle - Edwardstone
                    Gold Cup - Fiddlerontheroof
                    Mares - Heaven Help Us

Also the potential for doubles/roll ups such as:
Edwardstone - Wayward Lad - Shishkin - QM
Chantry House - King George - Shishkin - QM

Plenty of options really and think most of the horses from that Supreme have a decent chance in whichever races they go for this year?!

                    • Gerri Colombe in the Ballymore with JWM in the AB is one I like(d).

The JWM price is not that appealing now though.

This got me thinking, JWM has been cut to 12/1 (generally 10/1) from 33/1 without even seeing the racecourse this season. Not sure I've seen a horse quite so popular in the ante post markets without having a run.

I watched his Bumper win back again on Monday.

It looked hock deep ground and he just seemed to canter round at one pace whilst the others floundered in the straight.

Theres no way they would be running him anywhere without soft going, than Ireland has had up until now.

Fingers crossed he gets it, and takes up one of his entries with next few days.

Watching that video made me think "What an earth have I had a cover bet on him in the Ballymore for."

                          Owner's/connections money I reckon.
The first move seemed like it to me.

You can easily cash out though Sax so maybe still worth keeping hold of until after he appears.

                                He looked like a tractor

Just went the same pace the whole way and everything else finished exhausted
