Monkfish likely to shorten in price and task would obviously become a lot easier if LE goes elsewhere.

A third defeat is likely to make connections think about not taking him on for a fourth time. LE would arguably have the strongest form going into the NHC (along with Galvin) assuming Royal Pagaille heads to Gold Cup.
I've done that but for today with Monkfish ...

That’s a good option as well, similar to Honeysuckle/Concertista one.

Like you I have nice prices on Galvin so it’s a bit of a defensive move to cover LE in NH Chase.

Can decide what to do with the bet before the RSA if LE wins NHC based on other multiples from first day.

      • Loving the Monkfish today and / or RSA and Latest Exhibition (NHC) related doubles.

Also taken it a step further (big fan of the Albert Bartlett form from last year) and doing Latest Exhibition (NHC) / Monkfish (RSA) / Thyme Hill and Fury Road (Stayers) trebles with B365. Fury Road especially would be nice!

        • I dont think Latest Exhibition wants a step up in trip at all to be honest. Not sure there is any chance he goes NHC. They ran this lad in a graded race over 2 miles over hurdles remember, where he finished 2nd to Abacadabra. Not a bad effort

Well he's entered and the trainer has mentioned it, so your assessment there isn't 'any chance' is a bit odd, even if you don't fancy him.

            • I've taken the 47/1 with Hills on Youmdor to win today and Quilixios to win the Fred Winter. I suspect, given the armoury that Elliott has for the Triumph, if Quilixios were to get turned over today, he'd be reverted to the Fred Winter. Even off top weight, he'd have a decent chance.

Plenty of horses entered in races in the festival that they have very little chance of running in reality. Running a horse in a 2m5f grade 1 if there aim is a 3m 6f race atCheltenham

I think you're missing the point?

The trainer has literally said that if Monkfish beats them again they'd consider changing target.

I've backed him NRNB in the Marsh too - I would consider him a player in either race. Given how well he stayed in the Albert Bartlett I'm surprised you are so bullish he wouldn't be involved or have "any chance" of even running.

                  • Appreciate It / Hook Up now looks one to add....and for the adventurous Ballyadam / Hook Up

Could also look at Blue Lord doubled in Ballymore....tho that race looks pretty tough

                    • Done a little E/W double on Kemboy for Stayers and Melon for the Ryanair based of Willie's comments about them both going to these races.

                      • Probably a complete waste of money but I’m thinking of putting a few quid on Tampa Bay Buccaneers (TBB) to win the Super Bowl and The Big Breakaway (TBB) to win the RSA

worth adding ABP if he’s avoiding the GC with both of them, as he obvs knows ABP is ahead

I've had a bet on the superbowl any winnings will be spent on some multiples.

                            • Not impossible they switch Bob Olinger to Supreme....and specially so we’re anything to happen to Appr It

Double on this and GDM and Brave each for Ballymore gives some nice cover....good still NRNB

Always a fan of these scenarios and really hope it doesn’t given ones I have on Appr It and GDM / Brave / Bob O

The problem with my related double is both legs are doomed
