  • Might be worth NRNB double …Tully (Sup) & Bally (BB)

if Tullyhill won well tomorrow, might give Paul a top Supreme horse & Bally could go for Weds race

They have similar running styles & poss Mullins might not want in same race?

Remember he doesn’t have to be better than Bally, he has to be better than Ile Atlantique

….33s ante-post. Surprised nobody else quotes him but that should change with declarations.

          • The Tullyhill Supreme Ballyburn BB double is around 50-1 with most bookies. NRNB - lot bigger antepost. Think 104-1 Sky

            • I think you can also do the No Flies On Him Supreme/ Mystical Power Baring Bingham double which is 74/1 with NRMB. Couple of reasons. NFOH win today then Tullyhill is beat and strengthens the chance of Ballyburn going Supreme. It also gives McManus another strong chance in the Supreme, with Jeriko De Reponet already looking booked for the race with no BB entry. A NFOH win may well see him supersede Mystical Power in the betting which would leave MP as second string for both owner and trainer. Whereas if he was to go BB then he would be contesting favouritism with Ballyburn going Supreme.

Maybe less likely but can do the reverse @ 142/1 with Bet365 with the NRMB cover in case they chose to push NFOH up to the Ballymore trip with his lack of experience a disadvantage generally for the Supreme.

                • Slade steel (supreme) ballyburn (baring Bingham) . Given that Henry said Slade steel will go whatever way ballyburn doesn’t. It’s a nice price antepost 365 at 83/1

Did he really say that ?? Ruby reckons SS will go BB whatever the circumstances.

Henry quoted after the race ”we might go wherever your man doesn’t go”.

may have said it in a joking manner but surely it’s a very real possibility

Ok, thanks. Yeah a possibility. Couldn't fancy him for a Supreme though. He looks a proper Stayer. Plugged on well behind Ballyburn the last time but ridden like a Stayer. Would have more chance of a place in the BB IMO. Let it all unfold!

                          Thought stayers won the Supreme?

Wasn't a dissimilar performance to Ballyburn, just obviously to a slightly lower standard. Id definitely give him a chance in a Supreme.
