I did check this Kev, I still don't think this is a bad bet and I'm tempted to throw a few points at it. When you look at what happened last year with the Hatton's form. Honeysuckle winning the Mares, Teahupoo arguably an unlucky 3rd.

I think this race is going to be a key piece to the puzzle this season. Ashroe Diamond's run in 3rd IMO was very encouraging, she was keen throughout most of the race but still stayed at it pretty well, to me she just looked fresh and with that run under her belt I see her improving. I'm quietly confident she beats all the mares this term including Lossie.

I don't think there's too many excuses for Buddy One and Zanahiyr, maybe a few sketchy jumps but nothing race ending, they probably ran to form. If the handicappers take that view, we are probably looking at career best performances from the front 3. Mid to high 160's for the first two and Ashroe running into the mid 150's

Could do festival doubles too but there's no real clear target for either with predators gold looking a bally/Bartlett type and Milo probably a supreme/bally type so you'd probably have to do four separate double if going that route.

Worth noting in that race, Jigoro who is currently 13/8 fav with 365 was beaten by Jasko des dames who is a 6/1 shot with same firm when they met in France over 1m4 March this year.
