Skelton Last 14 days chase strike right of 8%. Could be tuning up for the fest I guess. But 2023 level stakes P/L of -34 means I'm tempted to give his runners a fairly wide berth

I wouldn’t...I quite like it when trainers go a little quiet it’s the ones that hit form a fortnight too early that worry me.....Hendo has a bad spell before most festivals it means nothing. Dan is a target trainer ....his main target at the weekend was the Kelso race and his horse ran a blinder despite drifting alarmingly (folks presumably taking your stance that his horses weren’t firing) . His other main Saturday horse would have won comfortably if his jockey hadn’t had impulse control issues again. Obviously your shout but unless the trainer says there is an issue I’m not paying any attention to it personally.

tbh he's not a trainer I like for the fest anyway - no winner in 3 fests, 4 winners total, 3 in the same race, all over hurdles, bad recent chase form. Best of luck, but not for me
