Just thought of one... think I'm trying to be too clever though
Run Wild Fred tomorrow (3/1) with Galvin (25/1) in the Cross Country.
Gordy has said tomorrow is Galvin's Gold Cup... so if beaten, by the next most likely winner... then it condems Galvin down the XC route that Gordon's already mentioned as possible in the next couple of years?
103/1 the double
Someone stop me...

This is pure filth and highly speculative but I've done a Lord Lariat (20/1 today) and Galvin (25/1 XC chase) double that pays 545/1. I thought Galvin was ok in last years renewal, but he didn't jump too well and I think a year on after the toughest season he's had leaves him best watched for today at that price (obviously the most likely winner though). RWF always seems to need the run so he's unbackable IMO. Politesse doesn't appeal at the price, nor does BOD on good ground. I think Lord Lariat will deploy the same tactics used at Fairyhouse, just front run and put the rest under pressure. If the market principles lack for fitness and Galvin jumps like he did last year he could potentially win from the front in receipt of weights and the bi-product of that outcome would be Galvin's chances of running in the XC chase increasing as Elliott recently name checked the race for him. Its highly speculative and I'll probably have 0.5pt of Galvin in the XC before the off just to cover myself in case something else beats him.
