Jordan Gainford's got two rides today and I've backed him to pull off a 449-1 each way double.

He's on Petit Mouchoir at 33-1 (1/4 odds 1-6) in the County - case made in the County thread a few minutes ago.

And then he's on board Frontal Assault in the Martin Pipe. He's 14-1 (4 places) and 12-1 (5 places).

Can't remember who but someone recently pointed out the terrific record in the Pipe of horses who come here after a graded race victory. From memory I think Frontal Assault was one of only 2 entries who fitted the bill.

He'll need every yard of this race to show his best but I'm banking on Jordan showcasing his talent and improving a Festival record which reads 021.

1pt each way double Petit Mouchoir at 33-1 and Frontal Assault at 12-1.

That's it for Cheltenham 2021 - no more bets, I'm done.

I think if Minella Indo never gets any bigger than current prices then he's one I'm prepared to let go and will take on the chin if he does the business. I will however dabble in the related double with Allaho (Ryanair) who is another that I do like but is too short for me to really get involved in at this stage. Allaho/Minella Indo have continuously tied in closely together over their careers to date - their top novice hurdle form translated to the top of the novice chase division and if they can continue that into open company then they are both destined to take high rank.

Superb stuff.

Always need a few days away from the racing bubble after Gold Cup day but just been catching up for the last hour or so. Minella Indo's performance was the cherry on the top of a cracking week and it came as a huge bonus really as my enthusiasm for him had definitely been tempered by his performance in the Irish Gold Cup. The front 2 were both superb.

This thread was an excellent addition this year and is definitely one to keep going!

Mares Novice Hurdle wouldn’t usually be the first place I would look for related form the following year - but looks good to me at the price
