Yea, had couple of goes at the each way double. Quite like it's chances of at least placing. Seem to only be two places available in the BANC now though so I've not got as much on as I'd like. Will have another good look at going in again after decs.

Kinturk Kalanisi later has form with the Now Is the Hour and Captain Cody from the NHC. And Better Days Ahead BANC but that's more of a leap. Playing the trebles anyway

Not so much luck today.

On the jockeys theme, had a look at Ben Jones as having some potentially interesting rides. Won the Plate on Shake em up Harry last year.

Got Henry's Friend and Haiti Colours on Tuesday with decent chances. Shake em up Harry going for the repeat on Thursday. Pic Roc been quite fancied for the Novice Handicap. Four interesting enough runner there.

One or two other big priced for Pauling probably and may even pick up some others? Got one for Lavelle in Grand Annual.

I’ve moved on to 2026. Thoughts on a Mares related double. If Lossiemouth goes to the Champion Hurdle which surely must happen next year then I really fancy Wodhooh for the Mares Hurdle. Throw in Spindleberry for the Mares Chase and we’re on a Mare roll.

Although probably both have similar campaigns, pitched in deep to gain experience - so may be bigger at some stage when beaten along the way

Fast forward about 11.5 months from now:

"you got constitution hill, state man, kopek/anzadam/munny/new lion etc in the champion hurdle, it looks a tough race to try and win this year. I know it's been the three year plan with lossie but thats really only on the basis that its a walkover. She's won the mares twice and it looks the easier race again this year. And paul has indicated he would like to ride state man/kopek/anzadam. And also (Insert a nonsense of your choosing here from the following list 1.shes not working as well as we'd like 2.its the right thing for the mare 3.shes still a young horse, there's always next year)
