Hello Fat Jockeys,

Upgrading the Fat Jockey forum!: https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/fatjockeyforum

We're looking to upgrade the 'hosting CPU' so I've set up a crowdfunding project.

I would love it if you could donate using the link below to access my project page. Any contribution large or small will be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

It’s around ?42k for the pertemps winner and 60k euro for tomorrows race, so nearly ?12k difference. Small owners, think they only have 1 other horse in training so probably do care about the prize money. I’ve cashed my maxuum pertemps bet now he’s running tomorrow

That was my thoughts when I first brought up the prize money bit.......it really isn't always about the Fez for these small owners, especially when times are hard like now. Strike while the iron is hot. If he goes up another 14lbs so be it. The Stayers supplement is the difference between tomorrow's prize and the Pertempts prize........and the Stayers is very open.

      • Surely there’s very few poor racehorse owners ? Certainly ones that own horses being talked about in the same breath as the festival?

59,000 Euro to winner tomorrow which is less than the 56,270 you get for winning the Pertemp(62,800 odd in Euro) unless that has gone down? We can all speculate as to why etc.

Its a difficult situation for punters. I've backed him for this race as I can see him not turning up at the festival due to the fact that he's likely to get slaughtered by the handicapper regardless of the fishing mark GE got. The pot is similar and he's running off 138 today so why bother with the pertemps.

                  • Really disappointed that they have decided to run Maxxum at DRF today

was all in on him at big prices in the Pertempts,No cash out

Ironically my other bet in the race was Eric Bloodaxe

Might have to turn my attention to An Tailleur

Decent form and looks to be put away for this after qualifying early

                    • The way BOF's well handicapped Freedom to Dream has been backed, maybe he'll smash Maxxum out of sight and enable him to go to the Pertempts.

Couldn’t find this years pertemps prize money but last 2 years it was around 42k. Would also appreciate it if you didn’t try and make a d!ck out of me in front of my mates. Thanks

Not sure what you’re looking at but bar the year Mrs Milner won(2021 Covid year) when it was 42k it’s been 54/56k annually… I have no idea who your referring to as your friends & I was simply replying to you !!

Yea but he’ll get taxed on that. Also heard his bird was looking 10k, might have been a spoof though
