Same?! Wow! Can't blame them going for it then. Cheltenham need to step up game and prize money significantly or else we'll see more doing the same. He could blow his mark but for some owners/trainers Cheltenham really isn't b all and end all now. Sad.

….looking at SWs thread, Delta Work was 4th in that DRF race before winning the Pertemps, others have been placed in both.

Wonder what price they’d give for him for stayers non runner no bet. With it potentially been wide open, if he gags in again on Saturday he wouldn’t be too far behind in ratings. And with it worth exactly same as Cheltenham might Aswel win this and aim high. Wonder if that’s the thinking rather than the pertemps

Oh I get that chief. Just thinking it might be worth a speculative punt. Other than the top 2 the rest in the market are either not guaranteed to run or just poor. Just reminds me abit of flooring Porter the year he won his first stayers that rise out of knowhere with dramatic improvement. Albeit he would have his first run in graded company at Cheltenham rather than leop like flooring
