I don’t think anything came out in the final decs last year. Due to actually having to qualify it generally leads to running in the race as part of the initial plan to qualify in the first place. I think dunboyne will still get in, Gordon can pull one of his own if they fancy him that much, remastered on the other hand might struggle.

    • Hope he gers in too..

      • Mill Green, Mars Harper, Folcano and Koshari would look the most likely to potentially drop out with their other entries, but Gordon has been pretty insistent that he'll run all of his here, if they can get in.

Dunboyne will be safe if the Jam Man is going to the Ultima, but nervy times for Remastered.

        • Guys would silver sheen have a chance to get in now?
Can't be bothered to find my old post about this Harrington good thing.

          • Racing post has:

            25. Dunboyne
            26. Remastered

If Jam Man comes out, that's Dunboyne in and one more for Remastered. The only ones with other entries are:

            Koshari - Stayers
Tullybeg (but Gordon has confirmed he is aimed here)
            Mill Green - Pipe
Winter Fog (Emmet has confirmed he is aimed here)
Mars Harper (Gordon has confirmed he is aimed here)
Folcano (Gordon has confirmed he is aimed here)

            Koshari

            Christie seems undecided:

“He is probably not classy enough to get close in the World Hurdle, but good enough to run well. In the Pertemps final, which is about handicap, he will be carrying top weight, and very few at top weight win at the Cheltenham Festival. He falls into that category of probably having too much weight to win it but good enough to run a good race.”

            Mill Green

            Radio silence

            Conclusion:

            • At one preview night (cannot recall which) Gordon did say Mars Harper is going Martin Pipe so that could be the second. Only heard this mentioned at 1 preview however so take with a pinch of salt

                • If Dunboyne is a plot for him then he'll get in no bother. As Elliott will take one of his out if absolutely necessary.
But like above, it looks like that will already be Mars Harper.

Given Mill Green ran in one qualifier in January (UR) and then had another crack in the Haydock qualifier in February, i'd assume he will be going for the race

                  • If Dunboyne gets in at 24 it won't be a coincidence.

                    • Hendo confirmed Mill Green runs here at the UniBet preview.

                      • McNally has done a switcheroo and The Jam Man is coming here.

                        Not looking promising for Remastered,

                        • I can only see 4 horses above Remastered and Dunboyne in the ratings who have not publicly been mentioned for the race by trainer/connections - Koshari, Whatsnottoknow, Coeur Serein, Didtheyleaveuoutto.

Gordon can remove Mars Harper (mentioned for the Martin Pipe by GE) to give Dunboyne a run, but I think Remastered is going to need at least 1 of those 4 to come out to get a run.
